The Story behind the Sails

Spinnaker Resorts develops, markets, sells and provides property management to resorts in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Branson, Missouri; and Ormond Beach, Florida. The corporate headquarters are in Hilton head Island, South Carolina.

Spinnaker developed its first timeshare project in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina in 1983. Subsequently, it expanded to Beaver Creek, Colorado in 1989; Branson, Missouri in 1998, and Ormond Beach, Florida in 1999. Spinnaker is currently developing new resorts in these states.

In 1993, Spinnaker formed a property management company to manage Spinnaker developments. This company, Southwind Management Corporation, manages over 550 timeshare units. SMC also operates The Players Club Hotel on Hilton Head Island.

Spinnaker's distinctive architecture, state-of-the-art swimming pool areas, and extensive health and fitness facilities combined with Southwind Managements' comprehensive recreational programs, and personal service are among our hallmark features that contribute to an overall extraordinary resort experience.
