Bluewater is a gateway to the Intracoastal Waterway and is located directly across from the Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge where white ibis, herons, great egrets, osprey and bald eagle reside. The salt marsh and tidal creeks are also home to other wildlife like the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin and loggerhead turtles.
